Emaar was founded in 1997 by Mohammed Al-Abbar. Emaar is dealing in both Commercial as well as Residential property development. Emaar also deals in Malls and Hospitality.
In 2000 Emaar was listed on the Dubai Financial Market and became the first company to offer shares to other foreign nationals.
